Volunteering

Are you seeking a new challenge or hobby, perhaps you are in retirement or have a few spare hours each month? Look no further! Our 100% volunteer-based organization is constantly seeking new members to fill a variety of roles.

Our volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization, responsible for every aspect of operations and maintenance necessary to keep our century-old trams running smoothly.

From trackwork to gardening, tram driving to shop staff, there are a variety of tasks that you could participate in, regardless of your experience level.

Our skilled and knowledgeable team is ready to help you learn about any aspect of our operations that interests you. The only requirements for volunteering are to become a member of the MTMS (details below) and to be at least 18 years of age.

If you would like any information on our volunteering opportunities you can speak to the team via the Contact Us page.
