Tramtastic and Evening Tram Service

Stockport 5 the last time Old Lakeside stub was used, July 2022.

Event to be opened at 10AM with a two tram parallel run from Depot to Middleton Road followed by a short photographic opportunity outside Middleton Road gates.

Enhanced, 4 car tram service follows with a fifth car in service from 3PM until 8PM.

The "out of service" fleet, Blackpool 752, Blackpool 702, Oldham 43, Manchester 173 and the Manchester Horse Bus will be on display outside/inside Lakeside depot for viewing.

A 5 tram cavalcade will close the main event featuring Manchester 765, Stockport 5, Hull 96, Blackpool 623 and Blackpool 619 will operate from Depot to Lakeside and return.

Various opportunities to ride on rare sections of track will be presented throughout the day with Middleton Road stub, Old Lakeside stub and Centre Crossover planned for use.

Regular tram fares will be in operation. Further details will be announced in due course.
