Vintage trams run;

Sundays from March 26, 2023 until October 1, 2023 - 12pm until 5pm

Saturdays from June 3, 2023 until August 31, 2023 - 12pm until 4pm

All services depart from Lakeside every 30 minutes, passengers can board at any of the signposted tram stops along the line.

Tram allocations are decided on the day, subject to weather and crew availability. If you are intending to see or ride a specific tram in our fleet please contact us before your visit so we can advise.

Occasionally tram services can be disrupted or running days cancelled due to events held within Heaton Park. If making a specific journey to come and see us please contact us before your visit so we can advise.

Tram fares

We offer Return tickets, valid for one round trip lasting around 20 minutes, and Multi-Ride tickets, available for unlimited travel on the day of purchase.

Adult return £2, multi-ride £5

Child return £1, multi-ride £2.50

Family (2 adults and 2 children) return £5, multi-ride £12

Finding us by car

Heaton Park has several public car parks (Parking charges apply and can be found at Manchester City Council).

Sheepfoot Lane car park is the closest to the tramway. For sat nav users follow M25 0DL.

Golf Centre car park M25 2SW.

St Margaret's Road car park M25 2GT.

Finding us on public transport

Metrolink - Bury line,

Bowker Vale Metrolink stop is approximately a 0.5 mile straight walk to our Middleton Road stop, bus service 59 also has stops at Bowker Vale and the tramway. Heaton Park Metrolink stop is approximately a 0.75 mile walk through Heaton Park.

Bus

The 59 bus service runs from Manchester City Centre, Piccadilly Gardens and stops directly outside our Middleton Road stop. See the Transport for Greater Manchester website for more details.
